Dr. Stéphanie Breton

Biography

Stéphanie Breton is a Professor at the Faculty of Education at Université de Sherbrooke. Her research focuses on learning pathways, inclusive education, learning difficulties, vocational training, lifelong learning, pedagogical approaches, student-teacher relations, and training systems. She is affiliated with various research teams and has been involved with the Observatoire de la formation professionnelle du Québec and the Coalition Ontarienne de Formation Des Adultes. She obtained her Doctorate in Education from Université de Sherbrooke and has a solid background in educational qualifications. Her professional experience includes roles such as external evaluator for Avenir d'enfants and research coordinator at Université de Sherbrooke. Stéphanie has received multiple scholarships for her academic achievements, including a Doctoral Scholarship from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada. She actively contributes to various conferences, presenting communications on parental involvement in literacy and the educational needs of students in vocational training. Her teaching includes courses on inclusive approaches in classrooms aimed at supporting all students. Stéphanie’s work reflects a commitment to educational inclusivity and the success of diverse learners in vocational education contexts.
