Biography

Sunny Lee is an Associate Professor at the UCL School of Management, specializing in organizational behavior. She serves as the Head of Diversity, committed to fostering an inclusive environment that supports diverse talent. She completed her undergraduate studies in English Literature at Seoul National University, followed by a Master of Public Policy from the University of Chicago, and a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from the London Business School. Since joining UCL in 2014, she has taught negotiation courses to a wide range of students, including those from universities and professionals such as officers from the Metropolitan Police. Her research focuses on gender differences in the workplace and biases in organizational decision-making, examining how men and women react to competitive situations, negotiations, and failures. Her work has been published in major academic journals, including the Academy of Management Journal, and has been featured in media outlets such as BBC Radio and the Financial Times.
