Biography

Tanya Berg is a Toronto-based ballet teacher, dance educator, and researcher with a diverse research focus on fostering healthy communication in students and facilitating holistic education within both dance studio and classroom environments. She holds a PhD in Dance Studies from York University and completed Canada’s National Ballet School Teacher Training Program. Currently, Tanya teaches at the Faculty of Education and the Dance Department at York University, as well as at the Faculty of Kinesiology at the University of Toronto.
