Dr. Trevor Maber

Biography

Award-winning faculty member of the Edwards School of Business, Trevor Maber engages in teaching and scholarship across a wide range of practice areas including organizational behavior, leadership, human resources, training and organizational development, large group facilitation processes, presentation skills, and case analysis. Previously serving as Director of People Strategies at Saskatchewan Polytechnic and as a senior project manager at Saskatchewan Health Authority, he leverages 25 years of experience in human resources, organization development, and project management to create positive change and highly-engaging learning opportunities for students, clients, and organizations. Maber is an associate faculty member at the Schools of Leadership Studies at Royal Roads University and Fielding Graduate University, currently holding the position of Institute Social Innovation Fellow at Fielding, where he is undertaking a development project focused on the design and delivery of a dialogue-centric approach to hosting change-oriented conversations among community and organizational groups. In addition to his faculty engagements, he partners with leading Canadian and US-based consulting groups and entertains speaking engagements across North America and internationally. Maber is the COO of Pure Strategy Inc., a technology firm focused on the application of AI and unsupervised machine learning in data analytics. He has been an active contributor and supporter of the TED community for over a decade, having served as a TED workshop presenter, TEDx organizer, speaker, and TED-ED lesson designer.
