Biography

Trina Davis is an Associate Professor in the Department of Teaching, Learning, and Culture at Texas A&M University, where she also serves as the Academic Program Chair for STEM Education. She holds a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Educational Technology from Texas A&M University. Her research interests include technology integration in teaching and learning, especially in mathematics and broader STEM education. Davis is actively engaged in research that centers on designing and evaluating technology-enhanced learning experiences, with a focus on interactive and immersive environments. She has been involved as a co-principal investigator in significant projects such as the Empowering Preservice Math Teachers Build Argumentation Skills GenAI Project and the Knowledge Algebra Teaching for Equity (KATE) Project, which is funded by the National Science Foundation. Davis has received national recognition for her work, including the Making It Happen Award from the International Society for Technology in Education and has held leadership roles in major educational organizations, promoting digital equity on national and international levels.
