Biography

Andrew Kwok is an Associate Professor in the Department of Teaching, Learning, and Culture at Texas A&M University. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Brain, Behavior, and Cognitive Sciences from the University of Michigan, followed by a Ph.D. in Educational Studies focusing on Teaching and Teacher Education from the same institution. His work investigates the relationship between teacher beliefs and instructional quality, as well as issues related to teacher attrition and pipeline. He has received funding from organizations such as the U.S. Department of Education and the Texas Education Agency. His research has been published in prestigious academic journals including the American Educational Research Journal and the Educational Researcher.
