Dr. Diane Slaouti

Biography

Diane Slaouti is a dedicated educator in the field of teacher education, specializing in TESOL and English Language Teaching. Her research interests revolve around teacher development in global contexts, focusing on the adoption and use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in diverse teaching environments. Diane has significant expertise in exploring transitions in teaching and learning contexts, particularly through her involvement in Master's level teaching programs. She teaches the MA TESOL with a pathway in teacher education, alongside courses in study skills and research methods at the undergraduate level. Her work is supported by her international experience in countries such as Algeria, France, Greece, Spain, Morocco, Russia, Portugal, and Bangladesh, contributing to a rich understanding of global educational dynamics. Additionally, Diane actively engages with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, aligning her research and teaching with global educational initiatives.
