Professor Dr. Jason Rosenblum

Biography

Jason Rosenblum is an Assistant Professor of Instruction in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at The University of Texas at Austin, focusing on humanizing and ethical approaches to technology design, integration, and innovation, with particular emphasis on Generative AI in educational and business contexts. His scholarship centers on Generative AI literacy, where he explores how learners develop critical judgment regarding AI systems, evaluate outputs, and apply AI tools responsibly in educational and professional settings. He also serves as the coordinator for the Learning, Equity, Action, Design (LEAD) graduate certificate program in the College of Education. Rosenblum teaches courses at the McCombs School of Business, specifically on Generative AI literacy and applied analytics to undergraduate students. His broader research and teaching interests encompass ethical technology integration, experiential game-based learning, and technology-supported learning in various contexts. In addition to his academic work, he teaches Japanese martial arts in Austin, Texas, and investigates embodied learning and mindfulness practices.
