Biography

Julia Millán Gómez is a lecturer in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at Yale University. She is currently completing her Ph.D. in Hispanic Linguistics with a minor in Applied Linguistics at Texas Tech University. Julia holds two Master’s degrees: one in Romance Languages and another in Event Organization and Business Tourism, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Translation and Interpretation specializing in Spanish, English, and Arabic. Her work serves as a bridge between linguistic theory and classroom practice, with a particular focus on multilingualism, language ideologies, and cross-cultural communication.
