Luc Brunet is an Associate Professor in Work and Organizational Psychology at the Université de Montréal. After completing his doctoral studies, he worked as an industrial psychologist at Bell Canada from 1979 to 1980, before transitioning to an academic career at the Université de Montréal, starting in 1980. Initially, he was part of the Faculty of Education Sciences, where he taught Work Psychology in the School Administration Department and held several positions, including Program Coordinator and Vice-Dean for Human Resource Management. In June 2000, he moved to the Department of Psychology, where he has since been a pivotal figure, becoming a full professor and program director in 2005. Brunet has also been a guest professor at the Université de Mons-Hainaut in Belgium and at Swiss Higher Pedagogical Schools. He has given over 200 presentations and numerous publications in his field. Since 2001, he has been an active member of the Centre for Research and Intervention in Work, Organizational Efficiency, and Health (CRITEOS) and serves as treasurer of the International Association of Work Psychology of French Language (AIPTLF) in Quebec. His research interests include work climate, workplace violence, and organizational behavior.
