Biography

Machiko Hosoki is a developmental-behavioral pediatrician who focuses on reading problems in school-aged bilingual children and how the home school environment affects reading development. She completed her undergraduate degree at Keio University in Japan and then earned her medical degree from Kanazawa University, followed by a pediatric residency at Texas Tech Health Sciences Center El Paso. As a board-certified pediatrician in Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics, she has engaged in multiple clinical and academic training opportunities, dedicating her career to furthering understanding and support of developmental issues in children.
