Dr. Mona Lundin

Biography

Mona Lundin is a Professor at the University of Gothenburg's Faculty of Education, where she focuses her research on changing work roles within educational technologies and systems. Her academic work examines the structure of work, time management, and how educational practitioners accomplish their tasks, specifically in the context of teacher education. Over the past decade, her research has largely taken place in schools and educational settings, emphasizing teachers' digital work and the professional digital competence required for effective teaching in contemporary environments. Lundin collaborates closely with schools to enhance the applicability of her findings, currently leading a research group dedicated to the interplay between learning, education, and the digitalization of society. She also holds the position of vice-dean with responsibilities for doctoral education and sustainability at the Faculty. Lundin teaches advanced-level courses, particularly focusing on master's programs in learning and education. Her research interests include professional learning, digital work, digital competence, and teacher education.
