Biography

Nicole Mancevice is an Assistant Professor-In-Residence at the School of Education and Information Studies at the University of California, Los Angeles. Her research focuses on disciplinary literacy, curriculum design, and teachers’ professional learning. Nicole is a fellow of the CONNECT program, where she collaborates with teachers to co-design instructional strategies and lessons that support students’ reading in social studies. Nicole holds a B.A. in English from Connecticut College and an Ed.M. in Language and Literacy from Harvard Graduate School of Education.
