Biography

Noelle Wall Sweany is a Clinical Professor in the Department of Teaching, Learning & Culture at Texas A&M University, focusing on Learning Design and Technology. She teaches a variety of graduate courses in the Learning Design & Technology program, including topics on Emerging Technologies, Instructional Design, and Mobile Learning. Her research interests center on enhancing self-regulation in online learning environments and effective practices for teaching and learning online. Dr. Sweany was recognized as an Exemplary Distance Educator by Texas A&M and has received multiple awards for her teaching excellence, including the Department of Educational Psychology's Outstanding Teaching Award for 2017-2018 and the Provost APT Faculty Teaching Excellence Award for 2025.
