Biography

Christian Stöhr conducts research on formal and informal aspects of learning, particularly in technology-enhanced learning and engineering education. He leads a theme on digital learning and addresses topics such as flipped and hybrid teaching approaches, AI in education, and online learning including Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs). He has also conducted research on science communication, public understanding of science, and the role of scientific knowledge in governance contexts. Besides his research activities, Stöhr teaches a course on supervising research students and currently serves as the main supervisor for PhD students and post-docs in the Department of Communication and Learning in Science.
