Professor Dr. Garry Falloon

Biography

Garry Falloon is an Honorary Professor with a rich background in education, having hold positions in various prestigious institutions. He has extensive experience in teaching and leadership in primary and secondary schools across New Zealand and has contributed significantly to educational research and policy. He has worked with industry partners on innovative learning projects and has been a part of significant advisory panels, including those related to digital learning in education. Garry's research interests are focused on mLearning, digitally-supported learning, online blended learning, curriculum design, and pedagogy, particularly in primary science technology education. He is currently involved in a research project that explores contemporary multimodal authorship in schools and has played a crucial role in the Federal Government's STEM Leaders project. He has also supervised numerous higher-degree candidates, providing mentorship and guidance in educational research.
