Biography

Jessica Chakowa is a Lecturer in European Languages at Monash University. She completed her French Baccalauréat and a Master’s degree in Information Communication at Université de Nice Sophia-Antipolis, France. With a background in language education, she has extensive experience teaching in various institutions including this university, as well as Alliance Française de Melbourne and RMIT. Since migrating to Australia in 2009, she has held various positions in language teaching and program coordination. Jessica is interested in enhancing students' learning experiences through technology and has been involved in projects that apply artificial intelligence in language learning. She has also worked on developing online courses in collaboration with international institutions, aiming to provide interactive learning experiences. Her research is focused on language acquisition, e-learning, and inclusive language teaching, and she has contributed to numerous conferences and workshops related to these topics.
