Marco van de Ven obtained his Master's degree in English Language Culture from Radboud University in 2007 and a Research Master's degree in Experimental Linguistics from Utrecht University in the same year. He completed his PhD in 2011 at the Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics in Nijmegen, under the supervision of Prof. Robert Schreuder and Prof. Anne Cutler, with co-promoter Prof. Mirjam Ernestus. Van de Ven's work includes examining language learning, language learning problems, evidence-based language interventions, psycholinguistics, speech perception, and mixed effects modeling. He is an assistant professor at the Behavioural Science Institute of Radboud University, engaged in teaching and research activities.
