Biography

Nathan Clemens is a Professor and Department Chair of the Department of Special Education at the University of Texas at Austin, where he has been a faculty member since 2016. He focuses on improving instruction, intervention, and assessment for children and adolescents with dyslexia and reading difficulties. His research interests include the development of word reading skills in early elementary students, reading comprehension for older students, and enhancing educators' abilities to use assessment data to inform instruction.
