Biography

Somayeh Kamranian is a sessional lecturer in the Department of French, Hispanic and Italian Studies at the University of British Columbia. She completed her Ph.D. at Paul Valery University and has significant experience teaching the French language. Her career began in childhood, inspired by her grandfather's library, leading to extensive training in teaching French as a foreign language. Kamranian has taught a variety of French language courses and literature classes at UBC, as well as having professional experience at Simon Fraser University and Kwantlen Polytechnic University.
