Dr. Nina Kang

Biography

Nina Kang is a Master Lecturer and Assessment Testing Coordinator at the American Language Institute, University of Southern California. She has extensive teaching experience across various countries including Uganda, Uzbekistan, South Korea, and Bulgaria. As an English Language Fellow sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, she has contributed to language education in numerous international contexts, enhancing English language literacy and cultural understanding. Kang's academic focus is on English Language Testing and Assessment, emphasizing the integration of information literacy skills and cultural rhetoric in writing. Her dedication to fostering critical thinking among students is evident in her work with graduate-level curricula and authentic assessment methods. She has presented at many conferences, sharing her insights on topics such as academic integrity, collaborative writing, and technology-enhanced language instruction.
